IT'S BEEN FOREVER AND A DAY

... since I've last done any sort of update to my website. To be honest, I've thought about reviving this place many times in the past... one? one and a half? years, but I've never actually gotten around to it. There's been no time to focus on things like these. School's been killing me and I had some very personal issues last year which were a big distraction. But I really missed having this place and working on it so I finally got my butt in gear and finish up all my renovations here. The writing base here of webs has dwindled down a lot, but I decided that this site isn't something I've made for other people- it's just for me. So yeah. I'm never going to abandon this poor baby again, although I may a little slow with updates and the like. I'm in my final year of high school and I'm one month away from university application time (early admissions anyway). I'll probably be really busy with that.

That aside, I have been writing during my long absence. A lot of it will never see the light of day because I'm too critical of my own work. I've been experimenting with some different writing styles as well when it comes to things like drabbles and one shots. I'm not sure I'll ever be posting all that on here but yeah. What I do have on here right now are four different originals. One is my NaNoWriMo stroy, another is kind of a heavy story, and the last two are my favorite; romantic comedies. They're all orignals because I'll only be post my fanfics on my livejournal. Yes, I have been writing a lot of fanfiction these days but my primary focus will always be originals. But that aside, I'm planning on posting as much as I can here. It may take a while but I will. I'll also be starting NaNoWriMo on November 1st. Hopefully I'll be able to pull of a win here. I intend to post snippets of my NaNo fic here as well. ... Gosh, I'm intending to post a lot. I hope I can manage to actually do it. Anyways, I'll leave you now lest I ramble on any longer. It's good to be back and.... um, that's it.

EDIT: Sooooo, I roleplay a lot. Mostly Harry Potter of various eras, but yeah. I write a lot of applications and a lot of roleplay posts, not to mention extra little fics pertaining to my roleplay characters and their situations. Where am I going with this? Well, a lot of my applications and posts read like fics anyway. I'm wondering if maybe I should have a section of my website dedicated to roleplaying. I can put all things I like there... I dunno, I'm seriously considering this. But maybe roleplay stuff is best left in the roleplay world? I hate choices.

DOUBLE EDIT: I'm always on the look out for more people to add to my 'Wonderful People' list, so if you know someone who has some amazing writing skills, let me know. I'd love to check them out and then add them to the list. I like long lists. And I love reading other people's work. It doesn't have to be a webs thing, I'm cool with livejournal, mibba, fanfiction.net, fictionpress, and anything else too. Really, this is me just asking you for fix recs. ♥
